Anderson Cancer Center’s new Ambulatory Building has a 740,000 sf
diagnostic and treatment facility, with a parking garage for 2,400 cars.
A 30-foot by 56-foot column-free-zone provides maximum flexibility for
the core space planning. The staff corridor on the west side, public
corridor on east, as well as mechanical towers on the south and north
ends of the building establish a logical and efficient zoning
organization. The warm-toned locally quarried granite panel walls
against the transparent glazing surfaces compose a material, color and
texture contrast for the exterior architectural expression of the
building.
The
project is a LEED certified sustainable building..
