prior work w/ KMD

Oakland, CA

The U.S. General Services Agency of Alameda County commissioned the design and construction of 80,000 sf new building in 1998. This facility is composed of office, recording hall, public record library, wedding chapel, staff atrium cafeteria and a daycare facility. The interior design focuses on creating a community celebration atmosphere. The integration of art into the terrazzo flooring in the lobby and recording hall, a screen wall at the wedding chapel all help to generate a festive and inviting feeling.
