ALAMEDA COUNTY RECORDER’S OFFICE

Oakland, CA

Having outgrown their existing space, the General Service Agency of Alameda County decided to design and construct the four-story 80,000 sf building. The project site is located within the county complex in a mixed-use neighborhood. The building scale and architectural details reflect the low-rise commercial and residential neighborhood as well as the character of the surrounding civic complex buildings constructed in the 1993’s and 1994’s. The building façade features precast concrete panels and an aluminum curtain wall with clear, low-E insulating glass.
